Why are there 3 (or more) types of files for each loop?

We've created a variety of options for our loops because we know that every church uses them differently. They also offer different levels of functionality.

  • The .wav/.mp3 files are the cheapest option, but offer the least flexibility. They can be played straight through and that's really it.
  • The Ableton sessions allow you to remix the instrumentation of a loop and trigger choruses, verses, and other song elements on demand during a service.
  • The Reason sessions are the fully expanded loop file. From the Reason file, you can modify parts, instrumentation, tempo, key, etc. You can change a drum part or even swap in different samples if there's something you don't like!
